Task List App
PROTOTYPE (2023)
Role: UX/UI Designer

This project is a concept design for a modern To-Do List App focused on collaboration, clarity, and motivation. The goal was to create an intuitive task management experience that feels both functional and emotionally uplifting, helping users stay organized while actually enjoying the process.

Project Scope & Deliverables

The app was designed with busy users in mind — whether individuals managing their personal tasks or teams collaborating on shared goals:
-
Multi-List Functionality: Users can create and manage multiple to-do lists for different projects or areas of life.
-
Collaborative Sharing: Lists can be shared with friends, partners, or teammates for real-time collaboration.
-
Simple Task Management: Users can add, edit, and check off tasks quickly, with a streamlined, minimal interface.
-
Responsive UI: Designed for both mobile and desktop platforms to keep users productive wherever they are.
Design Process & Tools

This concept was designed in Figma, with a focus on approachability, joy, and usability:
-
User Flow Mapping: Outlined common task management behaviors to ensure the design supports real-world use cases.
-
UI Design: Created clean layouts that prioritize legibility, speed, and minimal cognitive load.
-
Visual Language: Developed a warm, cheerful visual aesthetic that helps transform task management into something users look forward to.
-
Prototyping: Built interactive mockups to simulate key features such as list creation, sharing, and task completion.
Key Design Features
-
Modern, Bright Color Palette: The app uses warm tones like coral, sunshine yellow, and sky blue to inspire optimism and focus.
-
Typography for Clarity: A friendly but clean typeface ensures readability while reinforcing the light, upbeat tone.
-
Micro-Interactions: Task completion is rewarded with subtle animations to create a satisfying user experience.
-
Visual Motivation: The overall design is aimed at reducing the stress of productivity and turning to-do lists into visual encouragement.
This app design proves that productivity tools don’t have to feel clinical or overwhelming. With the right tone and thoughtful design, organizing your life can actually feel fun.
