Virtual Meeting App
PROTOTYPE (2020)
Role: Design Manager, UX/UI Designer

The Virtual Meeting Space App was developed under an accelerated timeline to support a major trade show event. The goal was to present a high-level prototype that demonstrated the potential of our software to prospective clients in a compelling and visually engaging way.

Project Scope & Deliverables

This short sprint project was focused on rapid ideation and execution:
-
UX/UI Mockups: Designed key user flows and screens to illustrate core functionality and interface behavior.
-
Interactive Prototype: Built a click-through prototype to simulate the app experience for trade show demos.
-
Storyboards and Scenarios: Created user-centered storyboards to help communicate product value and use cases.

Design Process & Tools

With only one week to complete the project, I relied on lean and efficient design strategies:
-
Rapid Ideation: Sketched and validated concepts quickly to align with stakeholder expectations.
-
UI Design: Used Adobe XD to create polished mockups that communicated brand and functionality.
-
Prototype Development: Developed a clickable prototype that showcased core interactions and user flows.
-
Engineering Handoff: Delivered designs and prototype to the engineering team, who used them as a foundation to finalize the proof of concept.

Key Achievements

-
Time-Efficient Delivery: Completed all designs, storyboards, and a working prototype within a 7-day window.
-
Compelling Trade Show Demo: Helped the team present a visually strong and intuitive product experience to prospective customers.
-
Design-to-Development Collaboration: Enabled a smooth transition from design to engineering, accelerating proof-of-concept development.

This project demonstrates my ability to work fast under pressure while maintaining clarity, creativity, and usability. The Virtual Meeting Space App prototype was not intended to be a finished product, but rather a successful concept that told a clear story in a short timeframe.
